I read the book earlier this year and enjoyed it for its emotional authenticity. What I appreciated most was the multi-generational impact of family trauma and how William, at the end, attempts to repair the mistakes of his past by reconnecting with his daughter. I wrote a review for my substack which you can find here if interested: https://dl831.substack.com/p/mighty-works-of-art-hello-beautiful.
I LOVE LITTLE WOMEN! I need to read this somehow. You have convinced me 😂 it can’t live up to little women for me (nothing can) but i am always here for anything little women related!

Yes, I loved the multi generational aspect of the book as well! Thanks for sharing your review.
Loved this book. The sibling dynamics were spot on. I also loved Dear Edward, so I guess I'm just a fan of her writing.
I need to read more of her books too.
I love the sound of this, thank you for the review! I am going to add it to my TBR right now. 😊
It’s my privilege to introduce you to this book! :)
