Wow, incredible...where to begin, so many tantalising options!
There are a few I'm intrigued by, the highlights being:
This is Where the Serpent Lives (haven't heard of this one)
The Marriage Portrait (I've only read one other Maggie O'Farrell book - After You'd Gone - and this one's been taking up space on my Kindle for a few years now, begging me to read it)
Everything from Simi Sidhu Writes - and there's a nice reminder there about Tan Twan Eng, whom you recommended to me, Alicia, if you remember.
Hahaha I also need help with my TBR after this one! And I went through the whole post multiple times! That's partly why I added the table of contents...
I do recall recommending Tan Twan Eng and was excited Simi mentioned him. Have you read any of him books since?
Wow there are so many finds here! I’m excited to check out The Group by Mary McCarthy- I’ve never heard of it before but I’m writing a story set in 1920’s and the main character went to Vassar so this story sounds like gold!
This is a really, really fun set of ideas! So many good options to choose from but I am particularly drawn to the new Maria Semple book. I am really trying to lighten up a little bit this spring.
Thank you so much for inviting to contribute! This was truly so fun.
It was so much fun to put together too, and thanks again for joining, Petya!! Go Gentle is definitely on my TBR too. I'm curious what you think about it if you do read it!
Wreck and Yesteryear are definitely on my TBR! I’m a little wary of London Falling, but only because I know it’s going to be this incredible sprawling exposé after reading Empire of Pain some years ago.
This is so fun!!! I can’t wait to go through it more thoroughly.
The Marriage Portrait always makes me think of spring because that was when I read it, a perfect choice.
I have my eye on Yesteryear as well. And I haven’t read The Road or Beloved but I have both on my list.
Yes, it was so fun putting together too, and I'm glad you're enjoying it too!
Yesteryear was on my TBR already as well, as was Beloved.
I am interested in Yesteryear too!
It sounds so interesting doesn't it!

Not yet, he’s there waiting patiently on my list, along with many others. I will try to get to one of them before the year is out.
Please let me know if you do read any of his books!
Tan Twang End is an auto-buy author for me… glad you enjoyed the recommendations. I’ve added your to my TBR!
Gosh what a great list! Definitely stealing some of Lauren’s recs, as well as GhostFish which sounds just as strange as it does interesting 😯
I'm glad you found books for your TBR!! And yes, @book talk with lauren has excellent taste in books. ;)
Yes I saw we have some similar! Go Gentle is also on my TBR!!

This is so great, big fan! Especially helpful as a librarian :)
I'm glad you love our spring reading list! :)
Thank you so much for sharing about LITTLE ONE! I appreciate it so very much.
I'm really excited to read your second book, as are my readers!
Can’t wait to add to my TBR from this great list! Thanks for including me!
Thanks again for contributing to it, Kelly!
This came together so well! I fear I am going to have to throw out my Spring TBR and start again now 🙃
It did, and I'm really grateful for everyone who contributed, including you! Hahaha you can just add it all on!
I have definitely doubled my TBR - looking forward to reading some of these recommendations!
Haha mine is significantly longer now too! Thanks again for contributing. :) @Daniel Puzzo appreciated your list in particular!
I think we will need a review from @Daniel Puzzo when he finally reads Eng!
taking so many recs from this list!! honoured to be part of it 🫶🏼
Thanks again for bringing your spring list to this!! 🌷💕

Wow! What a list. Saving this for future reference. Thank you!
It's a bit of a mammoth list, and I'm so grateful for everyone who contributed!!
Lots of lovely suggestions here, some old favourites and lots of new ones to look out for!
Oooh which ones do you have your eye on?
Wreck, London Falling and Yesteryear all sound fantastic! So many good ones tbh, I would love to read them all but never enough time 😅

Thanks for including me and my little bookshop dream. And now my to-read list is getting much longer…
Thank you for bringing your bookshop to my bookish space, Sarah!
Thank you so much for featuring me in this, and for putting it together!! Immediately extending my TBR 😂
Thanks again for joining my Reads With Friends, Soph!! Haha my TBR may never recover from this one (I'm not complaining).
Can’t wait to read others selections!
